Came in for an appointment to have spark plugs replaced on 2018 Chevy equinox and the guy quoted me $450. That number itself was already high so I mentioned this and mistakenly mentioned that I just had moved from Michigan where they had quoted me $200 and he claimed THAT was the reason for the price difference. I did not expect to pay that $200 but 450 definitely felt predatory. Thankfully, another customer overheard that I had just moved and recommended me a shop in Mesa owned by a man from Michigan. Walked in, he immediately worked on my car, 45 minutes later I paid 230.98 after taxes for the exact same plugs.

I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. Before dropping off my vehicle, I marked one of the front tires so I could verify that the rotation had been completed. When I picked up the vehicle, the marked tire was still in the exact same location, even though the invoice stated that the tire rotation had been completed. Based on that, it appears the tire rotation was not performed. That immediately made me question whether the rest of the service, including the oil change, was actually completed. I have no way to verify the oil change, but once I discovered the tire rotation hadn’t been done as documented, I lost confidence in the work performed. Accuracy and honesty are essential when servicing a customer’s vehicle. Unfortunately, this experience left me with little trust in the service I received.

Took my Veloster in because I thought it had an issue with the front axle, they assured me that after looking at it there wasn’t a problem, turns out I was just being over cautious. Most any other service center would have taken advantage and “found the problem” however, they were perfectly honest and went above and beyond and took care of an actual issue we found with the battery for me.

My experiences with this Sun Devil Auto location have been excellent. The service advisors are professional and treat customers with respect, give written quotes for work to be performed, and look for available discounts which I very much appreciate. My car has always been fixed right the first time and within the time frame given, unlike some other shops in town. I highly recommend Sun Devil Auto!

Brought my car in for a second opinion as dealership indicated breaks would need to be changed pretty soon, turns out breaks can still go on for over 10,000miles. Ended up getting two tires at a very reasonable price. James was great. Kept me informed the whole time. Very happy with my experience at Sun Devil auto.
